Systematic Transfer Plan (STP)

What is STP?

STP refers to Systematic Transfer Plan where in an investor invests a lump sum amount in one scheme and regularly transfers a pre-defined amount into another scheme. A debt fund normally assures you of fairly consistent returns, while equities have the potential to create wealth. But the unpredictability in equity funds can be quite a deterrent when you make a choice. To combine the best of both worlds, we suggest Systematic Transfer Plans.

Investor have following option to transfer:

  • DAILY STP: Transfer on every working day.
  • WEEKLY STP: Transfer on every Friday (Minimum Rs.500)
  • MONTHLY STP: Transfer on either of 1st, 10th, 15th or 20th (Minimum Rs.1000/month)
  • QUARTERLY STP: Transfer on either of 1st,10th,15th or 20th (Minimum Rs.3000/qtr)
  • (Above dates/options may differ from AMC to AMC and schemes to schemes)
